Day 2

Initial I was concerned that I had nothing to write about today, played on my mind for a short while. What could you really be grateful for if you had just been lazy ..........

Like that walk along the river front first thing this morning, cool breeze, obviously all speed boat owners had gone back to work, as it was quiet but for the birds. Everyone you passed actually said hello with real smiles, some even asking about your day. Friendly neighbours stopping for a chat. Feels like the first day of my holidays and I am grateful for that.....starting to feel I have time to notice the things around me. Mother and infant magpies, lorikeets, bill the bush turkey building a new home (must have a girlfriend), some amazing fish jumping out of the river and several families of ducks heading up the river together.

But most of all grateful as haze and syd left up that bacon and salmon for me, :) so nice crispy bacon (sorry Karen) with poached eggs and spinach. That’s a great way to start a day.
