Day 25

Remember those days when you’re parents and you knew your neighbours. You trusted them and if you needed help you could ask. Boxing Day you all played cricket together, you  celebrated Guy Fawkes Day as a whole street. You went to school with the kids next door, no one called the police if you had a party because they were all at the party.

Well I am grateful that after 2 not so pleasant neighbours have now departed our neighbourhood to everyone’s relief.....I have those types of neighbours.
Bushy who carts away excess yard clippings or helps me with the hedges when they are totally out of control, Eliz.....who even today went out of her way to bring my rubbish bin in……….in the pouring rain,, Sar please stop bring me all those fresh baked cakes, samosa's, spring rolls to my door along with all that beautiful fresh greens from the market (no actual keep bringing the greens and spring rolls : ), M and S always up for a chat and swapping of good novels, The front neighbours who always let me know if anyone has been near my house during the day. Oh and Ian who may have moved but comes back to visit family...provides lots of fun holding up smile signs to the passing pedestrians and traffic.

Yep I am pretty lucky, just hope I can be as good a neighbour as the ones I have
